team fresh!
We started the day off by going back to the Ray West Memorial Project. Some of us visited with the family while others worked outside for about an hour before we had to move on to our next project at Franklin Wright. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of Franklin Wright. I was so impressed with the work and dedication that takes place at Franklin Wright. The people that work there are so passionate about what they do and they are willing to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of those in the surrounding community. After the tour we were directed to the gymnasium where we were instructed to paint the lower half of the gym. Toward the end of the day were we able to meet the children who come to Franklin Wright after school. It was such a reward to see the smiles on the faces of the kids. I talked to kids ranging from ages 6 to 16. They were so excited that we were there helping to paint their gym. I have to go to make a commercial but I love ASB and I will blog later!
