What are you most excited about for your ASB trip?
After I visited Southwest Louisiana back in January, all of the work our team had been doing to prepare for ASB suddenly became real. I saw the work that needed to be done. I saw the place where we were going to be staying. I met the people that we are going to be working with. It really got me excited about what an incredible experience this is going to be, not only for me, but for all of you who are joining us for ASB. I remember what an amazing feeling I had after Storm Corps last year having spent a week helping those who so desperately needed it. It would have been really easy for me take "one last hoorah" with my friends during Spring Break of my senior year in college. I am so glad I made the decision I did because the experience I had was priceless and something that I will take with me for the rest of my life. So when I think back on that time and how it impacted me, I can't help but get incredibly excited about what lies ahead for all of you. Having said that, let me pose this question for all of you to comment on.....What are you most excited about for your ASB trip?

I've been thinking that I'm most excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to this community that needs so much - and to do something that matters to the people there, but after the webinar on Tuesday, I think I'm now most excited to meet all the amazing people who I will get to work with during my week in SWLA. The energy and excitement of this group is contagious (even through a webinar!) and I can't wait to be part of that!
I think it's too hard to pinpoint exactly what I'm most excited about, the weather, because I'm in ohio.. the wonderful people we'll be meeting, the wonderful people we'll be helping, my first big adventure on my own, my Birthday in another state! It's all too much to take in.
